Your favourite Stockholm Pride-week event! In 2025 the Prom Dress Battle took place on Friday 1st August. Details for 2026 will come when we get closer to the event.
Our biggest event of the year has been held annually during Stockholm's Pride Week since 2016. Players from all over Sweden and beyond join us for the world's most glamourous rugby match. There's even prizes for best dressed!
It's not all about the dresses though; half of the proceeds are donated to Regnbågsfonden to support their efforts around the world in working for the rights of LGBTQI people.
Important information:
Information on how to sign-up will come as we get closer to the event.
Dress-code: the more boujee the better; ball gown, bridesmaid, little black dress just wear something that looks fabulous. But don't forget your boots and mouthguard!
After the match: once everyone is showered and changed then the third-half begins!
Cost: 300 SEK or 26 EUR if you are an international player. Half the proceeds will go to Regnbågsfonden.
Insurance: Important note! All international players must ask their rugby union for approval to play abroad to be fully insured while playing.
There will be food and drinks (non-alcoholic) available to buy as well as Stockholm Berserkers merchandise and a raffle!
All spectators are welcome to join the third-half pub crawl in town afterwards as well.
We will also have an announcer during the matches to explain what is happening for those less familiar with rugby.

If you are a spectator, you can choose to pay early (and show a physical or digital receipt at the event). Or you can simply pay when you get there on the day!
For players, we ask that you pay ahead of time.

Yes! Prom dresses + rugby + mud = excellent.
As a spectator, absolutely not! We will have someone to announce what is happening.
As a player, yes we ask that you are rugby ready for a full contact match. We will have players with a lot of experience as well as rookies on the pitch.
